Antalis launches international interior design award

Print Solutions

In a celebration of the vast design possibilities presented by modern visual communications media, Antalis is launching its inaugural ‘International Design Award’ competition.

The competition, which will run until 31 December 2017, calls on interior designers, architects, printers, brand owners and students to submit their best designs using at least one product from the Antalis Coala range, its flagship visual communication brand.

A panel including major international players from the world of design, presided by renowned scenographer François Confino, will then decide on the stand out projects.

Themed around the ‘just print your imagination’ concept, the competition comprises three different categories all geared towards celebrating a showcase of self expression and ingenuity, marking the different artistic sensibilities from around the globe in a way that has never been done before.

The competition will reward the finest completed projects and projects underway from the period of January 1 2016 to December 31 2017.

The winners will be announced in March 2018.

For professionals and students who don’t have any completed or current project to submit but still want to let their talent shine, Antalis is offering the possibility of using blank 3D models which they can reinvent with solutions from the Coala range.

The winners will receive €3500 and €2000 for first and second prize respectively. Furthermore, they will have the opportunity to bring their ideas to life by re-designing parts of Antalis’ headquarters or one of the Group’s subsidiaries.

Katie Farr, head of marketing for Visual Communications at Antalis UK, commented: ‘With the Antalis Interior Design Award, we want our visual communication expertise to support the creativity and innovation of interior design professionals and enable them to push the boundaries.

‘Our Coala range is perfectly in line with new trends in interior design and decoration, offering customers the means to create unique interiors that help them stand out from the competition. The international dimension of the competition is an added strength as it will be a melting pot of different artistic styles and sensibilities as well as a source of inspiration for others.’
