Perfect Colours is set to offer clients an alternative to buying or leasing their print equipment with a straightforward rental initiative. The difference between the new rental package and the company’s traditional leasing offer is that customers can simply rent a new printer for a fixed monthly fee without the option to buy the equipment at the end of the three year agreement.
Sales director Jon Telling said, ‘This new rental agreement means that clients are able to take on the technology they want rather than the technology they can afford, without feeling tied into a long term commitment that might turn into a purchase. The package also includes a warranty that runs for the three year term of the agreement – and then when the time is up, they can hand the printer back to us and rent a newer model.’
One particularly appealing aspect of renting is that customers know exactly how much they are printing technology is going to cost them on a month by month basis. Perfect Colours has set its rental rates competitively, making this an option that will work out cheaper than most printers’ current solution.
For example, prices start from £39 a month to rent an HP DesignJet T520 24 inch and rise up to £315 a month for an HP DesignJet Z6800, while the HP Latex range starts at £299 a month for an HP Latex 315 and climbs to £679 a month for an HP Latex 570.
‘It is a solution that allows participants access to better technology with less of a commitment,’ added Jon, ‘so we feel it’s exactly right for the market at this time.’
