Vision Paper and Board has been appointed exclusive UK stockists of Accurate Top Strong, strengthening its range of packaging boards and further developing its partnership with specialist board manufacturer MM Karton.

Produced in Europe, Accurate Top Strong is a tough new GC2 cream back folding boxboard, suitable for all packaging applications including confectionary and chocolates as well as pharmaceutical uses.

Dan Brown, group board manager for Vision Paper and Board, said: ‘Following on from our success with Topliner and SilvaFreeze, we are delighted that MM Karton has appointed us as the exclusive UK stockist of Accurate Top Strong. With bulk and stiffness figures amongst the highest in the sector, we are the only merchant to offer this excellent board, which combines a great surface with high bulk, enabling our customers to use a lower grammage to save on costs without compromising on image quality.’

Accurate Top Strong is a lightweight virgin fibre cartonboard produced at MM Karton’s Eerbeck mill in the Netherlands from FSC certified pulps, is suitable for contact with dry and greasy foodstuffs and is available Halal certified on request.

The improved strength of Accurate Top Strong increases production efficiency by allowing faster press and finishing speeds and, with 90% virgin fibre content, dusting issues during cutting and stamping are eradicated.

‘As well as the runnability and finishing performance, we have added Accurate Top Strong to our range of Your Size bespoke sheeting grades,’ Dan explained. ‘This means that in addition to savings in machine time and reduced grammages, further efficiencies can be achieved by ordering the exact size and quantity required for job, cutting down on waste.’

Accurate Top Strong is available from stock in a range from 375 to 720 micron (210 to 365 g/m2) in standard sizes and from cutter reels.
