Bluetree Group was named one of 12 national winners from 196 businesses representing the ‘ones to watch’ in the United Kingdom at an exclusive event held at the London Stock Exchange for The European Business Awards.
Bluetree Group was chosen by a panel of independent judges including senior business leaders, politicians and academics as the best in the country in the category of ‘The Business of the Year Award with turnover of €26 to 150 million’, and the company will now go on to represent the UK in the final stage of the competition.
Bluetree Group, established in 1989 in Templeborough, originally supplied printed point of sale and marketing materials to major high street retailers and banks. However, in 2012 it merged with the online company instantprint.co.uk and as a result has experienced rapid expansion.
Since the merger, the company has established four main channels with the aim to target a wide range of print buying audiences.
Bryan Shirley, director of HR at the Bluetree Group, said: ‘The entire team at Bluetree is delighted to have been named ‘The Business of the Year Award with turnover of €26 to 150 million’ at this year’s European Business Awards. This award is a testament to the hard work that everyone at Bluetree has put in over the last year. We are looking forward to representing the UK in Warsaw later this year.’
Adrian Tripp, CEO of the European Business Awards, said: ‘This is an amazing achievement and Bluetree is clearly a stand out leader in its field. To be a national winner means you represent our core values of success, ethics and innovation and are one of the best in Europe.’
