Buxton Press invests in Kolbus kit

With its business projected to continue the current pattern of growth in catalogue, magazine and brochure production, Buxton Press has placed an order with Kolbus UK for a new perfect binding line. It will replace two existing lines and will be faster and more efficient than the two it replaces.

The line is the latest version of the Kolbus KM610 perfect binder and comes with PUR gluing facility.

Managing director of Buxton Press, Kirk Galloway, said: ‘We were looking for a faster, more efficient binding line and the Kolbus KM610 fitted our criteria perfectly. Despite the recent Kolbus/Muller Martini announcement we were completely re-assured by the level of service and back- p from Kolbus and the new organisation.’

Kolbus UK will continue to supply service and parts for the KM610 line for the full duration of its warranty, ensuring that our relationship with Buxton Press will continue.’
