Sharp expands A3 monochrome line with ten new models

Print Solutions

Sharp Europe has introduced ten new MFP models to complete its refreshed A3 MX line up. The MX series now includes 24 devices (colour and black and white) from 26 to 60 pages per minute, with the latest additions offering the same flexible workflows and easy to use functions common to the whole range, plus the ability to handle volume print and copy jobs efficiently.

The new models offer a combination of intuitive and time saving functions such as a customisable 10.1” LCD touch screen interface and a motion sensor that detects approaching users (Advance models only).

Whichever A3 MX device customers choose, whether colour or black and white, the user and IT admin experience is the same.

The mono Essential Series models (MX-M3050, MX-M3550, MX-M4050, MX-M5050 and MX-M6050) meet all everyday office needs with the option to upgrade as required. The Advance models (MX-M3070, MX-M3570, MX-M4070, MX-M5070 and MX-M6070) include additional functions as standard, including office direct print, wireless connectivity and direct access to the cloud.

Cloud connectivity gives easy access to popular applications, including Microsoft OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online, Box and Google Drive via Sharp’s available Cloud Connect features.

All of the newly introduced devices offer a pull printing solution, which stores print jobs for authentication. This means that documents are only printed when the user is at the device, so preventing sensitive documents being left unattended in the printer tray. Using a print release function customers can print from any networked MFP at a time and place that suits them.

Rachel Dean, product business manager, said: ‘Our new refreshed Advance and Essential series offer customers powerful multitasking features enabling them to quickly execute all of today’s busy office tasks. The new black and white models offer value as well as security, to help our customers to protect their data and sensitive personal information. These new models can help in delivering the changes that organisations require in order to become compliant with the newest GDPR regulations without significant investment.’

The new printers accommodate a wide variety of paper sizes, up to A3W, and weights, up to 300 g/m2, and a wide variety of print and finishing options to create professional reports and booklets.
