Funding boost for Nottingham based commercial printer

Print Solutions

A Nottingham based commercial printing company has secured a £250,000 facility from an invoice finance specialist to re-invest in the business as it plans to offer a wider range of services.

Sherwood Universal Ltd, a family owned printing business, revealed its plans to expand its design and printing offering, which currently includes logo design and company branding, and digital, litho and large format printing.

The business, which prides itself on offering a first class service, sought finance from Manchester based invoice finance provider, Positive Cashflow Finance, to invest in the production of a wider range of printed products, and further improve its quality and variety of output.

Tony Hunt, sales director at Sherwood Universal, said: ‘We are thrilled to have secured funding from Positive after experiencing problems with a previous lender. We required a funding partner that could listen to us and recognise our immediate business needs, and Positive did just that. The whole team has really taken the time to understand our business and how we work which makes a huge difference.

‘We plan to bolster our printing offering to provide businesses and people with higher quality printing. Our strong relationship with Positive, and our relationship manager, Damien Healy, ensured the whole process ran smoothly – he was on hand to help us with business advice and problem solving as well as financing solutions.’

Positive Cashflow Finance offers invoice finance facilities from £10,000 to £1 million to UK SMEs. It was able to unlock cash flow and provide funds to Sherwood Universal Ltd in just one week.

Phil Chesham, sales and marketing director at Positive Cashflow Finance, said: ‘We are pleased to help Tony and the team at Sherwood Universal continue to sustain and grow its business. We look forward to a long business relationship and assisting the company to achieve its future business goals.’
