Bluetree Group 2020 expansion plans revealed

Rapidly expanding South Yorkshire based print manufacturer, Bluetree Group confirms further expansion in Manvers, Rotherham.

After four years of calling Manvers home, Bluetree Group has confirmed plans to expand its manufacturing facility into a neighbouring unit, increasing the total footprint by 45% to 145,000 square foot and paving the way for Bluetree’s continuing growth.

Adam Carnell, managing director said: ‘We are in an exciting position with the business continuing to grow very rapidly year on year as more consumers choose to purchase their printed products online. When we first moved into the building in 2015 it seemed vast but with the investment in new equipment the space has been filling up quickly. The additional production space will allow the business to fulfil its growing demand and also add new products to the current line up.’

Over the past five years, Bluetree Group has invested £20 million into the South Yorkshire print production facility, ensuring the company’s place at the forefront of print industry innovation whilst stimulating the local economy with the expansion of their skill rich workforce. The latest addition to the facility includes the groundbreaking Landa S10P Nanographic Printing Press which combines the speed of a digital printer with the cost efficiency of a litho printer. This will be the first Landa in the UK and reflects Bluetree’s dedication of delivering quality print to its customers at fast turnarounds.

With Bluetree’s confirmed expansion, it is anticipated that recruitment will begin at the end of 2019 to fulfil various production roles within the new facility.

Renovation on the newly purchased facility will begin during spring 2019 and run through to early 2020, when Bluetree anticipates everything to be up and running.
