Boxmart appoints procurement director

BoxMart has appointed Phil Mansell as procurement director.

Joining the company’s board, Phil will be fundamental to the strategic progression of the business, supporting BoxMart as its impressive growth continues.

He brings with him enviable expertise drawn from a career spanning over 30 years across a wide variety of packaging sectors, including folding carton, corrugated, lithographic laminated and point of sale display.

He joins BoxMart from Swanline Print where he was commercial director responsible for estimating, customer services and graphics.

Phil said, ‘In today’s perpetually changing landscape it is business critical to foster a holistic, team based approach.

‘I pride myself on a highly participation focused strategy, encouraging as much employee engagement as possible to drive towards a shared goal. This results in a continuously evolving business strategy that gives an undeniable competitive advantage. Having worked across a range of senior roles, in commercial and general management on a national and international basis, Phil is highly skilled in a wide variety of areas including business analysis, change management, streamlining of processes and workflows and practical application of lean manufacturing techniques.
