Avanti and Enfocus integrate for success

Enfocus and Avanti have announced a collaborative partnership toward providing integrated solutions for customer success. The partnership is anchored on an integration between Enfocus Switch and Avanti Slingshot.

The combined solution automates repetitive tasks and reduces the number of touch points associated with receiving, sorting, processing and approving PDF files for print. There are no user touch points and all manual work to enter job and production details is completely eliminated, freeing staff time for more valuable activities and allowing print operators to focus on their customers, shortening turnaround time by moving files immediately to the right place and reducing the potential for errors.

Avanti Slingshot is an open print MIS, allowing software to come together to form a simplified, highly customisable solution delivering the optimal workflow for printers. Communication between Avanti Slingshot and Enfocus Switch enables fully automated workflow – from job processing, production and fulfilment through to distribution; eliminating costly, time consuming manual steps. Users benefit from the strength of the combined solution developed for the purpose of working together for a more stable, powerful, yet flexible workflow. The integration also includes the Enfocus PDF Review module, a simple yet extremely powerful and cost effective solution for review and approval/rejection of native PDF files, and PitStop Server for the automated preflight and correction of PDF files.
