AMS Spectral UV to sponsor Print UV 2019 and plans to unveil new products

AMS Spectral UV has announced its sponsorship of Print UV 2019 (March 27 to 29), the leading conference for printers who employ UV based curing technologies as part of the commercial and packaging printing process. AMS Spectral UV also confirmed it will unveil new LED-UV curing technology products at the event.

Print UV 2019, which is the 12th edition of the event, will welcome printers to discuss the latest processes and advancements in the realm of UV printing, which uses ultraviolet light to ‘cure’ inks and coatings, instead of drying processes that are based on heat and evaporation.

UV curing based printing has existed for decades, and today is one of the most prominent methods used by printers to print on specialty substrates and achieve special effects – like spot gloss and metallic – when creating printed works.
