Engelmann & Buckham (E&B) has launched a new, compact, inc.jet system to the UK market. This entry level system is called imc.lite (pronounced i.m.c lite) and is designed specifically for smaller businesses who are looking to use an inkjet system.
Richard MacLean, Director, E&B, has represented inc.jet systems in the UK for a number of years and saw the need for a unit that could provide a more economical version for smaller businesses. ‘Following the huge success of our high end mpp4 range we identified the need to provide a simpler, entry level system that could be used by a wide range of companies with addressing requirements,’ he said. ‘Some of our larger customers have been effectively using our original systems for the past couple of years and found massive benefits in cost and time savings. We wanted to open technology up to smaller businesses by offering a version that would reflect their size, and have developed imc.lite for these customers.’
The imc.lite is perfect for use on addressing bases and printing onto polywrap and paper enclosing machines. Priced from £11,750 the machine is set to shake up the lower end of the inkjet market whilst still offering optimum performance and cost savings to the end user.
