IFS promotes Gareth Read to technical service manager

Intelligent Finishing Systems has promoted Gareth Read to technical services manager with effect from June 1 2019.

Gareth joined IFS in 2013 as technical specialist and later took on the role of service engineer.

In his new position he will be responsible for developing a whole raft of IFS technical services from preventative maintenance visits to operator training as well as regular call out and breakdown cover. He will help by improving response and fix times while reinforcing the IFS culture of customer care with good installation and back up processes delivered by a highly trained team.

Managing director Bryan Godwyn said, ‘We are delighted to be able to promote from within and Gareth has consistently shown himself to be knowledgeable and hardworking as well as a great ambassador for IFS.

‘Gareth has succeeded in every discipline he has worked in and we are confident that he will help drive ongoing improvements in our Technical Services Department focusing on delivering an enhanced customer experience.
