PrintFactory appoints Colourgen as new distributor

Print Solutions

PrintFactory workflow software is gaining in popularity, as confirmed by the appointment of well known supplier Colourgen Ltd to be its newest distributor in the UK and Ireland.

Working across the UK and Ireland, Colourgen has been appointed to help the Netherlands based software producer to develop its alternative reseller channels, working in tandem with PrintFactory's already successful HP and Jetrix distribution base.

‘We have worked hard to develop our reputation for partnering with the right manufacturers and brands of wide format rips, printers, finishing systems and consumables – helping our customers to get the best from their products,’ said Mark Lambert, managing director of Colourgen. ‘We know this suite of tools will make production teams’ lives easier and, very simply, deliver a much better finished product for their end customers, too. The software’s colour management features are really going to open some eyes. What excites us, is the way PrintFactory speeds up production and saves money on the bottom line. It means the software almost sells itself – so we are looking forward to showcasing it soon to all of our resellers.’

PrintFactory is a suite of workflow software that has been made by a team of printers, to solve the everyday challenges faced by wide format printers. Available for purchase through a worldwide network of distributors and resellers, PrintFactory is a SaaS based suite of tools that is making a lasting impression with its great ease of use and ability to deliver better colour, consistently, while saving ink, time, media, and money.

PrintFactory’s workflow software includes feature rich tools that make life easier for teams working on the production floor – an editing package that speeds up the production process; nesting and tiling tools that deliver the best possible layouts, with complete manual control; and a world class device link colour profiling that can guarantee the right colour, across all media, and devices. In addition, the software has been designed to be ‘one click’ wherever possible, with in app tools that make life easier for users.

‘Our development team were all printers before they started creating wide format workflow software,’ said Toby Burnett, director of Sales EMEA, ‘so they know what the real headaches can be on the production floor. We recognise that same intuitive approach to business from the team at Colourgen. It is the simple things that slow printers down – like not having connectivity between operating systems, or having to use several pieces of design software to get one simple job done. With the appointment of Colourgen Ltd, we are aiming to get this message out to printers of all sizes, delivering all kinds of product. If you want to deliver the best possible colour, consistently, and access to software that is guaranteed to make your life easier – take a look at PrintFactory.’
