Perspex Distribution has increased its print substrate range with the launch of Palboard, a multi layered PVC sheet made with a recycled foam PVC core. This innovative sheet combines the extra tough surface of solid PVC with the lightweight, easy to use characteristics of foam PVC.

Palboard has an ultra smooth surface that offers excellent ink adhesion for digital or traditional printing applications. It is easy to fabricate and can be cold bent with a v-groove cut offering versatile structures for retail displays, exhibition graphics and general printing. Palboard can be shipped flat, assembled on site and flattened again when dismantled making it ideal for retail displays and exhibition stands.

On top of the environmental benefits of its recycled foam PVC core, the product is a practical solution for visual communication applications. Its multi layer composite structure has greater impact resistance than paper based products whilst being lighter than aluminium composite. The robust solid PVC surface is ideal for heavy football areas in the retail environment.

Palboard manufacturers Palram have produced multiple CNC templates to inspire users to get creative with the material. Templates include trays, birdhouses and even tables – all of which can be downloaded on Perspex.co.uk/palboard.
