Manor Packaging invests in UK first Bobst FFG

Corrugated cardboard specialist, Manor Packaging, is taking delivery of Bobst FFG 8.20 Discovery – the first of the next generation flexo folder gluers to be installed in the UK.

A division of Fencor Packaging Group, Peterborough based Manor Packaging has agreed a deal to purchase and install the machine, which will integrate into existing workflows. The flexo folder gluer offers flexibility and heightened efficiency to the production line, able to process up to 18,000 boxes per hour across a wide range of corrugated flute types.

Designed to be intuitive and bring additional value to the supply chain, the FFG 8.20 can be controlled with two operators and has a setup time of just two minutes. The machine is noted for consistent production speed, quality and accuracy, combined with a user friendly interface.

The FFG 8.20 Discovery selected by the company benefits from a number of turnkey features that make it a flexible and reliable workhorse for packaging converters, including a Rapidset flexo print system, top rotary die cutter with Posilock system (quick die cut tool mounting system) and an automated slotter.
