Adare SEC appoints chief digital and information officer

Integrated communications provider Adare SEC has further boosted its ongoing transformation strategy with the appointment of a chief digital and information officer.

Andrew Herd joins the executive team to drive the company’s continued enhancement of its digital services to clients. In the newly created position, he will focus on building high quality, secure systems that enable effective integrated communications and solutions.

Prior to joining the Huddersfield headquartered company, Andrew was chief information officer at mortgage services administration provider, Computershare Loan Services. Before that, he spent three years leading technology at UK Asset Resolution, the government’s holding company set up in 2010 to administer Bradford Bingley and Northern Rock.

Andrew’s experience in technology spans a career of more than 30 years. In addition to being responsible for transformation of technology led businesses, he has held senior positions across the UK and internationally, delivering complex projects and programmes that implement innovative technology led solutions.

Commenting on his appointment, Andrew said: ‘It is an exciting time to join Adare SEC. The company is rapidly transforming and further enhancing its range of digital services to enable clients to provide their customers with integrated communications which deliver excellent customer experiences.

In addition to Huddersfield, Adare SEC has further facilities in Redditch, Worcestershire, and Nottingham, Nottinghamshire.
