Item Products adds 100% paper carry handles to growing portfolio of natural fibre products

Item Products has included 100% sustainable paper handles to its growing product portfolio of organic plant based products, following a supplier deal with Persson – a manufacturer of paper and plastic carrying handles and handle applicator machines worldwide. The new agreement will see Item Products being able to offer the FSC certified paper packaging handles, alongside its existing range of other components.

Persson created the paper handles to meet customer demand. The fully sustainable paper handles are available in more than 100 variations and can hold up to 30 kg in weight. They can be produced to suit any box or package.

‘The new paper handles which are already available to our customers, are a great environmentally friendly alternative that fully integrates into the packaging, whilst capable of taking heavy loads,’ he added.

Item Products will be showcasing the paper handles alongside Persson representatives at Packaging Innovations on 26 to 27 February at the NEC, Birmingham. Exhibiting on stand D17, the company will also be highlighting other packaging accessories including its innovative Box Latch closure solution, Clear Stack transparent stackable storage trays, as well as a range of clips, hooks, stabilisers, high end luxury braids and cords.
