AccurioLabel 400 receives double industry recognition

Konica Minolta’s AccurioLabel 400 high speed single pass toner press has collected two industry recognitions. The press, the first high end model in the AccurioLabel series of digital label printers, has received an iF Design Award 2023 and a Red Dot Award: Product Design 2023. Both acknowledge improving operational efficiency by automating the printing process.

In both cases, the judges commended AccurioLabel 400’s design that eliminates the need for special skills and reduces downtime through operability. It also does not require a specialised license and automatic colour correction technology.

The AccurioLabel 400 was first unveiled in May last year. It achieves operational efficiency even in the high volume area through high speed printing, extended continuous printing length, and process automation. As such it aims to capture a significant share of a fast growing mid and high volume sector that has an estimated 3000 plus label converters.

Significant features include the ability to expand applications with white toner and improved productivity with superfast print speeds of up to 39.9 metres per minute. There are also further running cost reductions thanks to even more durable parts life, as well as enhanced print quality. It is available in four and five colour configurations.
