Wigston Paper launches new Snowcap paper

Wigston Paper has announced the arrival of its new stock of premium uncoated smooth paper – Snowcap. Available in five different weights ranging from 70 to 120 g/m2, the new paper is an affordable, smooth, arctic white paper perfect for offset litho printing.

Rob Walker, managing director, commented: ‘There has been a global shortage of uncoated stock this year for various reasons and the UK market has been hit particularly hard because of our fluctuating exchange rates, making uncoated stock not only scarce, but relatively expensive. As one of the oldest paper suppliers in the UK, we decided to take action to stabilise the market and with the launch of Snowcap we can help plug this gap in the market and enable our customers to continue to print profitably.’

Snowcap is available in both pallets and ream wrapped from Wigston Paper's central UK warehouse in Leicestershire. It is also available on flexi-pallets so it can be wheeled straight to the press.
