Pongs Direct-Tex Softimage Contrast (Black Back Textile) and Illuminati will now be exclusively distributed in the UK by CMYUK.

‘Direct-Tex Softimage Contrast is the perfect solution for large exhibition wall wraps and event backdrops,’ said Michael Crook, commercial director at CMYUK. ‘It has a true black reverse with excellent opacity and a super bright white print face. It also has stretch, which makes the installation of super wide graphics that little bit easier. It is printable from both dye sublimation and UV equipment, with excellent colour punch and image quality.’

Also available exclusively from CMYUK is Pongs Illuminati – the latest backlit textile for dye sublimation printing, offering a natural soft textile feel, perfect stretch and excellent colour reproduction.

‘The technology behind this new knitted textile eliminates pinholes when backlit and Illuminati’s soft touch structure greatly reduces creasing and bruising, making it the perfect backlit textile for retail displays,’ Michael added. ‘The UK textile market is growing rapidly and Pongs Contrast and Illuminati spearhead this growth.’

The textile’s supreme performance is reflected in sales growth as CMYUK notices a switch to more environmentally friendly PVC free solutions, within both retail and event sectors.
