Specialist packaging artwork, reprographics, plate and screen producer, Creation Reprographics is taking printing into a whole new era of smart manufacturing through enhanced digital systems.

Creation has embarked on a collaboration with Label Traxx, an MIS specialist for the label industry which provides business management software systems for narrow web flexo and digital label converters.

Matt Francklow, managing director of Creation, said: ‘The global print industry continues to transform. With printing becoming more sophisticated and output quality improved, printing infrastructure has had to become more advanced.

‘The printing world is facing many technological changes which increase the urgent demand for premium quality products and services that can only be supplied by a high level of productivity. This requirement needs sophisticated processing systems and more automated manufacturing.’

Label Traxx designed and developed an advanced software system that gives customers the ability to send digital print orders to Creation, resulting in an overall leaner production environment.

Matt stated, ‘Label Traxx provides a central system to manage the entire print workflow from beginning to end. By using the system, a label printer can place an order for flexographic plates online and the purchase order feeds directly through to Creation for processing 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

‘For us, having this system in place for our customers has been revolutionary in terms of business performance and driving customer satisfaction. It has resulted in less manual operations resulting in fewer human errors, less waste and leaner production.’

Creation has embedded the Label Traxx solution in to its own software, CreationLink, a streamlined and automated digital workflow system. This advanced solution fully integrates all business activities – from artwork to plate production – into a single automated process to deliver enhanced production efficiency and client satisfaction.
