Item Products announce move to new premises

Item Products, the Luton based leading designer and producer of components for the packaging industry, has moved to bigger premises. The new site, which at 3000 square feet provides double the capacity of the company’s former home, has been purchased outright by the firm in a strategic move.

Alongside a large storage area, which includes 150 linear metres of racking, the facility benefits from a modern office space, meeting room and display area. The uplift in capacity not only allows the company to increase their stock holding, thereby helping to create a more efficient workflow and supply chain, there is also an opportunity for future expansion by being able to further develop their product portfolio.

Commenting on the move, Item’s managing director, Julian Cook, said: ‘The move to new premises is a refreshing change for the business and, as we are not that far from our old place, we are delighted to retain all staff. It has taken us two years to find a new home and we are well placed to capitalise on the increased space and develop the business further.’

Item Products will be exhibiting on Stand G30 at this year’s Packaging Innovations, London, from 12 to 13 September 2018.
