Bobst UK and Ireland appoints Neil Porter to enhance customer service
Bobst UK and Ireland has appointed web fed product specialist Neil Porter to enhance its customer service offering.
Neil has more than 30 years’ experience in the printing industry, including over five years as innovative technical print manager at the Centre for Process Innovation’s UK based science and technology centre.
Neil will be responsible for process improvement, machine analysis, new machinery commissioning, training and customer liaisons to proactively improve customers’ machine performance.
Neil said of the appointment, ‘It is very exciting to be joining Bobst’s UK web fed services team at such a dynamic time.
‘Service is a key focus for Bobst and the team are passionate about providing the right level of training and support to our customers. This enables them to maximise production output while maintaining consistent and predictable print quality and stable web handling across both narrow and wide web ranges of equipment. I look forward to helping our customers achieve the very best from their Bobst machines.’
Neil’s appointment is part of the Bobst Business Unit Services Transformation Programme to ensure customer service remains at the core of the company’s business activities globally. Neil and other UK based technicians are ideally located for visiting customers to deliver face to face support, helping them to stay ahead of competitors with cutting edge equipment and services.
