Bobst improves tool making with fully automated Hybridsetter

Bobst is enhancing manufacturing production, speed and quality with Boxplan Hybridsetter – a dynamic waste stripping tool for die cutters.

With the Boxplan Hybridsetter, three-dimensional dynamic stripping forms can be manufactured. It offers automatic setting of pins and claws from a magazine in one pass to dramatically increase efficiency and quality of the tool making.

All parameters, including variable pin height, are filed in the machine’s control system to match the differing needs of customers and materials, enabling greater flexibility to the overall stripping process.
