Paddy O’Hara, IIJ’s director of technology, who has held senior technical roles within Industrial Inkjet Ltd since 2007 has moved to become director of business development from 8 January 2019.

Capitalising on his extensive experience of Konica Minolta’s inkjet technology and its applications, Paddy will work to develop new and existing markets for the current KM printhead range and lay the foundations for successful roll out of the new models coming from KM’s printhead development programme.

Additionally, he will develop opportunities for IIJ’s inkjet modules, the ColourPrint and Monoprint ranges, in their core market segments of security, packaging, labels and the exciting new area of décor printing.

Paddy will also take on the responsibility of managing IIJ’s product portfolio and the marketing activities around it.

IIJ’s managing director, John Corrall, said: ‘As IIJ continues to grow, we are constantly looking at where the next opportunities will be for inkjet technology. Paddy is well known in the industry and with his strong technical background he can ensure that ourselves and our partner Konica Minolta are fully prepared with the right solutions at the right time.’
