Training provides appreciation of how customers operate

Focus Label Machinery was pleased to welcome seven of RotoMetrics staff for training at its purpose built showroom in Bingham, Nottingham, to build knowledge of the printing process. The expert print technicians demonstrated the three working flexo presses they have in the Focus’ demo unit, and from unwind to rewind, explained fully all the components of the latest technology.

The hybrid Dflex was shown first, with a detailed explanation of Inkjet technology and the many benefits of this to a label printer.

The attention then turned to the conventional flexo presses, the eflex and proflex, where attendees were taken through each section of the press, discussing the purpose and function of each vital part. The session was rounded off by covering die cutting, so the delegates could see exactly where the products they provide sit within the process for their customers.

The training day was designed to give the delegates more appreciation of how their customers operate, which would allow them to serve more effectively and the feedback Focus received would suggest they achieved this goal.
