Kingsbury Press installs Heidelberg CX 102-6 B1 to accelerate growth

Kingsbury Press has installed a new Heidelberg Speedmaster CX 102-6 press into its new factory in Doncaster.

Known for its extremely high quality print and finishing and operating under the motto the ‘The Art of Print’, the company selected the CX 102-6 to access new markets with magazine work, adding new high end, longer run capabilities.

The CX 102-6 was chosen because Kingsbury already runs a pair of Speedmaster XL 75 presses and the management is very satisfied with the performance and the quality of service that Heidelberg offers.

Sales director Rob Layton said, ‘We will be moving into the new factory as we have outgrown our current facility and have no space for growth. We will be looking to enhance our offering to our client base, as well as building a new client base, on the back of all of this investment.’

The Speedmaster CX 102 is a B1 press. With speeds of up to 16,500 sheets per hour, there are very few challenges in commercial, label, and packaging printing that it cannot handle, and no customer requirements that it cannot meet. The perfect interaction of all components enables the Speedmaster CX 102 to easily process all materials from lightweight paper through to rigid cardboard.
