Benford UV turns to Darlek technology to expand product range

‘During these strange times we thought we could do our part to fight Covid,’ said Marc Boden, managing director at Benford UV.

Benford UV has been designing and manufacturing UV curing systems, used mostly in the printing industry, for a long time.

Marc said, ‘When the Covid-19 crisis hit us in March, we only had one option – and that was to use our extensive knowledge in UV light technologies to develop a range of products that can effectively be used to combat this virus.’

The UVC Darlek is a six feet tall (1.8 metre) portable robot that can be positioned in a room and within three minutes, help to deactivate the Covid-19 virus on any surface it directly touches.
