A B Graphic International (ABG) has launched the DigiLase Duo – a new dual laser configuration that sets fresh benchmarks in speed, precision and efficiency for digital laser cutting.

Developed in close collaboration with a valued customer, the DigiLase Duo reflects ABG’s commitment to customer led innovation. By incorporating two independent laser light sources instead of one, the system achieves up to twice the speed of a single laser unit, thereby delivering double the productivity and dramatically reducing reliance on a single light source.
The addition of dual independent lasers not only increases speed and throughput, but also provides full redundancy of the laser hardware, critical in a web to print environment – reducing dependency on a single laser. This design makes the DigiLase Duo faster, more flexible and more resilient in high demand production settings.
A major innovation within the system is ‘Repeat Flow’, which allows for the automated switching of die lines within each web repeat, without creating waste or operator input – ideal for short run sheet applications.
The DigiLase Duo also supports customers in improving sustainability, with the company’s sophisticated ‘ABG Connect’ workflow ensuring that job changes create minimal waste, reduce material loss and support leaner, more environmentally conscious operations.
Mark Norman, technical director, said: ‘The DigiLase Duo is the result of listening to our customers and pushing the boundaries of what is possible with digital laser cutting and in-house software development. By introducing dual independent lasers, we’ve been able to deliver exceptional gains in speed, flexibility and reliability, while also helping customers to minimise waste. It is a significant step forward in digital finishing technology.’
ABG will showcase the DigiLase Duo, along with other customer driven innovations, on stand 3E41 at Labelexpo Europe 2025, taking place from 16 to 19 September 2025 at Fira de Barcelona – Gran Via, Spain.
