Label Solutions Packaging Solutions
With the region’s small and medium sized businesses continuing to experience tough trading conditions, Peterborough’s AA Labels has enhanced its service offer in a bid to increase creative support and reduce costs.
Following the introduction of its Click & Collect service, which saw customer demand increase by 20%, the labelling and packaging provider has made additional provision for local customers by improving its delivery service and its direct to door collection. Online customers with urgent orders can take advantage of Click & Collect Plus which guarantees orders will be ready within two hours, saving valuable time when time is of the essence.
Local businesses with less urgent orders can still use the standard free Click & Collect service which offers pick up direct from AA Label’s Peterborough factory from three to five days after an order is placed. Before it was launched, this type of collection service had not been available within the label printing industry, so its recent introduction gives smaller businesses in the region the chance to save money whilst still benefitting from high quality printing.
There are no limits on order size, other than the exclusion of palleted orders.
And if time is a pressing factor, businesses looking for packaging don’t have to leave the site, following an increase in the number of outer products it now offers. Serving a broad range of business types, including FMCG, beauty, beverage and hospitality, folding cartons, cake boxes, table talkers and wrappers, amongst other options, can now be ordered. There is no minimum quantity, meaning design prototypes can be seen before final approvals are made and larger orders placed, taking advantage of full colour printing and a range of packaging materials.
In recent months, AA Labels has seen an increase in requests for its creative services, as many of its customers look to enhance brand awareness. With many smaller businesses not able to employ designers, its in-house professional creative team can produce high quality designs that add value to a range of products, adding value and product differentiation. Customers can currently benefit from a 20% discount on the cost of design services.
Shoaib Akram, AA Labels, commented: ‘The current trading conditions are tough so we have looked at ways that we can support local businesses and improve their bottom line. By offering an enhanced online experience both with the ordering process and our Click & Collect Plus service, we hope to take some of the stress away from small and medium sized businesses.
