AM Labels introduces new Epson Colorworks C4000 Series
Label Solutions
AM Labels Limited has added the new Epson ColorWorks C4000 colour label printers to its portfolio. Designed to be compact, durable and intuitive, the new range is easy to integrate and connect with existing workflows, in addition to offering wireless connectivity to provide users with increased levels of flexibility.
The C4000 Series, which is available as a matte ink version (CW-C4000eMK) or a gloss ink version (CW-C4000eBK), is the latest addition to Epson’s ColorWorks colour label printer range. Combining a resolution of up to 1200 x 1200 dpi, improved colour matching functionality and maximum print speeds of up to four inches per second (100 mm), the versatile printers can produce crisp, photo quality labels, on-demand.
Offering enhanced connectivity options, and thanks to its advanced software development kit for IOS and Android, the new C4000 Series printers can produce high quality and vibrant personalised labels via a tablet. This is particularly useful for in-store personalisation and applications where a PC is not available. Additionally, the C4000 Series offers optional Wi-Fi connectivity for remote printing, maximising efficiency and productivity. Designed to provide excellent ease of use, the printers also benefit from a large 2.7 inch colour display.
With individual pigment ink cartridges for fast drying labels with increased durability, the C4000 Series can also produce smudge, water and fade resistant labels. The matte ink model (CW-C4000eMK) is ideal for creating crisp, vibrant coloured labels on matte media, with the added benefit of printing darker black text and images. This model also enables users to create richer images when used with plain media. Alternatively, the gloss ink model (CW-C4000eBK) can print high quality labels on a more extensive range of materials, including synthetics and gloss finishes.
In addition to combining a maximum print width of up to 108 mm with tools for remote configuration, maintenance and monitoring, the C4000 Series can be utilised to create product and packaging labels, as well as barcode and shipping labels. Furthermore, the printers are ideal for small to mid-volume labelling requirements, particularly suited for use in healthcare, pharmaceutical and retail industries, as well as for businesses operating in food and beverage sectors.
Brendon Bass, sales and marketing manager, AM Labels Limited, commented: ‘We are delighted to add the Epson ColorWorks C4000 Series to our portfolio.
