Antalis refreshes Keaykolour with a new printed tool to inspire choice

Paper Solutions Print Solutions

To celebrate its Keaykolour range, Antalis has collaborated with Design & Practice to develop a design tool that aids in the selection of colour. The partnership has resulted in a new campaign and inspirational tool designed to raise awareness among creatives about the relational nature of colour. The playful tool offers a new way for creatives and designers to understand the emotional power of colour and unlock their creative potential.

This campaign reinforces the recent rebrand of Keaykolour, the premium range of coloured creative papers, as part of the recently repositioned Creative Power by Antalis collection. The new strategic brand positioning, along with a fresh identity, has been brought to life by Amsterdam based creative consultancy Design & Practice.

At the heart of the relaunch is a new hands on Keaykolour range tool. Beyond the traditional swatch book, the printed tool serves as an educational resource designed to explore the ever changing nature of colour. Featuring a series of cards with cut out windows and marquetry style combinations, the tool incorporates sophisticated print processes, including micro-embossed hot foils and 3D sculpted embossing. By overlaying these cards, users can create shifting, unexpected and inspiring colour harmonies and contrasts, demonstrating the principle that colour is always relative and constantly changes based on its context. It enables users to isolate and overlay colours, inviting experimentation and engagement with the diversity of shades within the range.

The tool features the full Keaykolour spectrum of 45 hues, tints and shades, available in various weights, as well as the new Extra-Rough paper grade in black and white and Keaykolour’s tactile embossed papers.

Keaykolour has long held a special place among creatives for its deeply diverse palette and rich tactile quality. Now, rebranded as part of the Creative Power by Antalis collection, which also includes ranges Conqueror, Olin, Curious, Rives and Delos, the range has been reimagined with strategic clarity, offering a comprehensive and coherent palette designed for today’s needs; from packaging and identity to print and publishing.

‘Keaykolour brings together tradition, innovation and tactile beauty,’ said Jérôme Noyelle, market development manager. ‘Our aim is to provide creatives with not just a premium coloured paper, but with a rich and complete palette that supports their ideas and enhances their work.’
