Two Sides has announced that Blackmore, the UK printer focused on sustainability, has become a member.
Founded in 1900 and based in Shaftesbury, Blackmore has built a strong reputation for its commitment to environmental performance. Its green print solutions are powered by 100% renewable energy, drawn from a mix of hydro, wind, solar (including their own solar panels), biomass and landfill gas.

In recent years, Blackmore has made significant investments to further reduce its carbon footprint. These include energy efficient print presses, processless plate technology and low energy UV drying, all underpinned by its ISO 14001 environmental management system.
The company also offers carbon balanced print, having been certified as a Carbon Balanced Printer, delivered by World Land Trust. The sustainability credentials are further strengthened by being accredited by EcoVadis Silver status, placing it amongst the top performers globally for environmental responsibility.
By joining Two Sides, Blackmore reinforces its commitment to promoting responsible print practices.
Andrew Robbins, managing director of Blackmore, said: ‘Joining Two Sides UK aligns perfectly with our mission. We have long believed that print can be a force for good; being both sustainable and a high quality communications medium. Together with Two Sides, we can help more organisations make better informed choices about their printing choices.’
Josh Birch, campaign manager of Two Sides UK, added: ‘We are delighted to welcome Blackmore onboard as a member of Two Sides. Its deep environmental commitment and innovation in green printing make it a powerful ally in our efforts to ensure that print remains a sustainable, trusted media. We look forward to working with Blackmore.’
