Koehler Paper’s Blue4est Pro eco friendly linerless labels have been successfully certified for Toshiba Tec Singapore’s all in one printer TRST-L1. Blue4est Pro is the innovative follow up to the popular Blue4est thermal paper for cash register. Linerless labels do have various advantages, including waste reduction and cost efficiency.

Just like conventional Blue4est POS paper, Blue4est Pro is guaranteed to be free of chemical developers and can be used with normal thermal printers. Instead of a chemical reaction to heat, Blue4est thermal paper uses a purely physical mechanism for its printing results. Tiny bubbles in the functional layer collapse when subjected to heat from the thermal printhead, which results in the black layer underneath becoming visible. Moreover, Blue4est Pro features an additional layer that protects the paper from mechanical damage for use as label stock. Converted to linerless labels without release liner, Blue4est Pro is a sustainable and cost efficient solution as it reduces waste and provides more flexibility.
