Bonacia Invests in Canon i300

Bonacia has taken delivery of its first Canon i300 inkjet sheetfed press

This latest investment of £350,000 is to increase capacity and quality, while

reducing print costs.

Bonacia has now invested over £1.5 million in new machinery in the last six years, this includes a Muller Martini Vareo InfiniTrim and a Nexpress SX3300 with oversized glosser, to meet the demand of the ever growing short run printing market, and to continue to offer high quality printing at affordable prices.

Carl Whitelock, production manager, commented: ‘The i300 is our first inkjet addition to our expanding production department. It is an interesting time for us as currently all our presses are toner based, so we are looking forward to getting the press up and running, and seeing ColorGrip in action.’

Bonacia plans to make further machinery investments over the next three years in line with the business’ continued growth.
