Corrugated packaging specialist BoxWay Packaging Group is celebrating half a decade of growth as it marks its fifth anniversary.

The company’s latest milestone highlights its status as a rapidly growing name in the UK corrugated packaging sector, having built a formidable reputation for agility, technical expertise, and flexibility during its five years of operation. Having launched in June 2021 with the acquisition of three sites from Saica Group, the company has since grown after a series of strategic investments and a proactive approach to customer service.

Andrew Woollard, group CEO at BoxWay, said: ‘We are celebrating the success of the last five years, but we aren’t looking back. Our customers can rest assured that we want to use this as a springboard to reach even greater heights, so we can continue to deliver the quality service that they rightly expect.

‘The last five years have proven our ability to scale a business and deliver value in emerging packaging markets, develop our capabilities, and create market tested innovations. I want to thank every individual who has played a part in building this company – you have set us up for even greater things over the next five years and beyond.’

While still a relatively young company, BoxWay’s success comes from its ability to combine the ambition, vigour, and straightforward approach of a start up with the established infrastructure and expertise of a larger corporation. After a number of investments in its two production sites in Peterlee and Exeter, conveniently spanning the length of the country, the capacity and capability of the company have continually evolved. Today, it offers customers services including wide format digital printing alongside speciality gluing, setting it apart from other sheet plants in the industry.

Andrew adds that its ability to prove itself in a challenging market makes the company well equipped to thrive in the future. ‘We were founded in the aftermath of Covid, when the market was very challenging, and have continued to grow through all the market challenges since, thanks to our unique blend of skills, experience, and technical capability,’ he said. ‘That robustness gives us confidence that we can continue this successful journey and deliver for our customers long into the future.’
