Celab Europe highlights liner and matrix recycling solutions at Labelexpo Europe 2025

Celab Europe will be present at Labelexpo Europe 2025, taking place in Barcelona from 16 to 19 September 2025, to showcase practical solutions for the collection and recycling of release liner and matrix waste in the self-adhesive label industry.
As a key initiative within the European label community, Celab Europe is committed to building a circular economy for label materials. By connecting printers and converters with certified recyclers across Europe, it enables companies reduce landfill waste, lower their environmental footprint, and comply with increasingly stringent waste management regulations.
‘Our mission is to make label waste recycling accessible, scalable and economically viable for the entire value chain,’ said Marius Tent from ViaPackaging UG, Celab Europe’s project management partner. ‘Labelexpo is an ideal opportunity to engage directly with industry professionals and demonstrate what’s possible.’
Celab Europe will be hosted on the FINAT stand, 4E49, where visitors can learn more about regional recycling options, explore success stories, and speak with experts about how to improve their own sustainability performance.
In addition, Marius will be contributing to AWA Label Release Liner Seminar and the Labelexpo The Pulse feature area during the event, addressing key topics such as infrastructure, regulatory developments, and industry best practices.
