CFH advances multichannel communications with Xerox Iridesse

Print Solutions

CFH has bolstered printing capabilities with a major investment in Xerox workflow solutions and presses. This includes the acquisition of an Iridesse digital press, Versant 4100, Xerox FreeFlow Core and FreeFlow Vision workflow solutions.

The move solidifies CFH’s position as an innovative provider of multichannel communications for clients across the public, private and third sectors. New capabilities, such as foil like effects, iridescent hues, and fluorescents speciality printing that can help capture readers’ attention, will be enabled by the Iridesse. Incorporating FreeFlow Core further enhances pre-press automation for existing customers, seamlessly integrating with CFH’s back office and the recently announced FreeFlow Vision Software. This software increases efficiency with automated, real time data on production print operations within Xerox and non Xerox environments.

In addition, these significant investments also position the company to attract new clients and seize emerging market opportunities, especially across web to print solutions.

‘Investing in class leading Xerox workflows and technology, particularly the additional functionality of the Iridesse, will give new and existing clients more choice and effectiveness in their communications while adding value to our capabilities as we pursue market opportunities,’ commented Steve Cray, group

‘For over 20 years, CFH has chosen Xerox innovation to complement its growth and commitment to delivering exceptional communication solutions. This investment in the wider Xerox eco system leverages leading edge technologies and automated workflows that deliver even better service and innovation to clients and prospects,’ said Nick Bridge, general manager of Graphic Communications and Productions Systems UK.

The move comes on the heels of CFH’s 45th anniversary as a provider of secure printing, with its hybrid mail solutions, Docmail, used by more than 30,000 organisations. It signals the next phase in the company’s transformation into a multichannel communication provider.
