CFH has deepened its long standing partnership with print and mail automation specialist BlueCrest. This is through a major new investment designed to expand production capacity, boost workflow efficiency, and further enhance service resilience.

The investment includes the installation of an additional fully configured BlueCrest Epic Inserting System with Print+ Messenger (PPM), complemented by Olympus and Vantage letter sorter solutions. Together, these advanced systems will deliver significant gains in speed, precision, and reliability in CFH’s production operations – increasing the company’s capacity and contingency to meet the demand for secure, high volume, and time critical communications.

The investment streamlines the mail fulfilment process – providing additional automation, control, and productivity. For CFH, this technology ensures faster turnaround times, enhanced data integrity, and exceptional output for its transactional and hybrid mail channels.

This latest upgrade forms part of a wider strategic growth and digital transformation programme, which has seen sustained investment in automation, innovation, and technology infrastructure. It also marks the latest milestone in a partnership with BlueCrest that has evolved over more than two decades.

CFH was the first organisation outside the United States to implement BlueCrest’s Print+ Messenger and Print + Response platforms on BlueCrest MPS and Rival inserting systems – a milestone that established a foundation of trust, shared innovation, and mutual commitment to excellence.

Since then, it has continued to advance its production capabilities through a series of targeted technology enhancements, including the installation of an additional colour PPM retrofitted to a BlueCrest MSE inserter in 2021 and the first Epic Inserting System with colour PPM in 2022.

Each phase has delivered measurable improvements in automation, efficiency, uptime, and overall performance. It has also allowed CFH to offer solutions for the personalisation and customisation of the envelopes to meet customers’ needs. Enabling the use of plain envelopes eliminates the need for a plastic window and therefore reduces the waste to landfill, making the envelope fully recyclable.

Steve Cray, group production director at CFH, commented: ‘Our continued collaboration with BlueCrest allows us to maintain the highest standards of integrity, security, and operational efficiencies. These investments demonstrate our commitment to providing efficient, accurate, and innovative hybrid mail and transactional communication solutions that evolve with our clients’ needs.’

Gary Warby, sales manager at BlueCrest, added: ‘What stands out about our partnership with CFH is the strategic, incremental approach it takes to technology adoption. From the Epic system to the implementation of the Print+ Messenger, each investment has been carefully planned to build on previous capabilities. That kind of thoughtful expansion creates genuine operational resilience and positions it well for future demand. We are excited to see the company grow and my being a part of the journey with the CFH team has been a real pleasure.’
