Color-Logic has announced a partnership with Visualis3R – new visualisation software designed to give creative professionals absolute confidence in their advanced print projects. With Visualis3R, users can see exactly how foils, embossing, varnishes, silver ink, white ink, and extra colour effects will appear – eliminating guesswork, reducing costs, and saving valuable production time.
Developed by the creator of both Color-Logic and Touch7, Visualis3R brings hyper-realistic rendering technology to prepress and graphic design. This innovative software accurately simulates the elements of final production, providing the first true to life digital preview of embellishments. Visualis3R fully supports Color-Logic files, ensuring seamless integration for users already leveraging this industry standard solution.
Visualis3R benefits now available now include:
Visualise Color-Logic files on Mac and Windows computers.
Visualise clear inks, varnishes, and coatings atop Color-Logic special effects.
On digital presses, visualise Color-Logic special effects on hybrid printing with white ink or foil in the first unit, followed by digital CMYK and spot or flood coating.
Visualise ink trapping with conventional and digital printing processes with silver inks.
Visualise white ink/toners on metallic stock.

Discussing the benefits of Visualis3R, director of sales and marketing Mark Geeves, said: ‘Color-Logic has always been committed to simplifying and enhancing the print embellishment process. Now, Visualis3R removes the uncertainty from advanced print effects that our system supports, such as digital and conventional cold foil (sleeking), and utilisation of varnishes or clear coats atop Color-Logic effects. Now, licensees and their clients can preview and perfect their embellishments with total confidence – before anything is printed.’
He continued, ‘And, for the first time, Color-Logic is making Visualis3R available to print service providers and graphic designers that do not own the software. This means graphic designers and printers can now enter the world of embellishment, and enjoy visualisation to save valuable production press time and materials. Visualis3R is available now, empowering the print community to unlock greater creativity, efficiency, and quality in every project.’
