Colpac has announced that it has achieved an AA+ audit grade for its BRCGS certification for the second year running.
The company embraced its second annual unannounced audit, passing with no non-conformances and being awarded the highest grade for BRCGS audits.
Colpac voluntarily elected for the unannounced audit as a demonstration of its commitment to producing packaging that continuously meets audit ready standards.
The auditor praised the company for its high standard of compliance across key process areas and emphasised the consistent discipline maintained since the company’s previous audit. He further commended the team for unwavering commitment to unannounced audits, describing the company as one of a select few elite packaging manufacturers to undergo such rigorous scrutiny.
Demonstrating transparency and confidence in its processes, Colpac even had customers on-site during the audit. The team’s preparation and expertise were evident throughout the audit, showcasing the ability to deliver excellence, even under pressure.

BRCGS Global Standard Packaging Materials is recognised globally as a benchmark for quality, safety, and legality in food packaging manufacturing. It provides a robust framework for all types of packaging manufacturer in the production of safe and legal packaging materials, and to manage product quality.
