Contact Originators has announced that its CEO Steve Mulcahy has been appointed as the new chair of the board of FIAUK (The UK Flexographic Industry Association).
The announcement was made at the FIAUK Annual Awards on June 20. Joining the 2024 board of directors, Steve brings a fresh vision and deep industry expertise to the position and will help steer the organisation’s long term strategy and direction, ensuring that the association continues to advocate for and support the UK's vibrant flexographic industry.
Steve said, ‘I am honoured to be appointed as the new chair of FIAUK, building on the excellent groundwork created by my predecessor Andy Wilson. Even with the challenges we all face, FIAUK partners and members continue to outperform on the world's stage. It is organisations like FIAUK that ensure the entire supply chain is rowing in the same direction and lobbies for its interests. I believe that the UK is home to some of the most innovative and creative printing and packaging companies found anywhere in the world, many of whom are found within the FIAUK organisation.’

FIAUK's role in advocating for the flexographic sector, promoting technical development, and enhancing education and training is pivotal. The association aims to bolster its initiatives, ensuring the UK remains at the forefront of the worldwide flexographic printing industry.
