A limited edition celebratory gin commemorating Queen Elizabeth’s II’s Platinum Jubilee, has been recently released by Silent Pool Gin. The signature bottle, which features the brand’s iconic patterning, was provided by leading glass packaging company Croxsons.

A key partner and Silent Pool Gin’s first call expert for anything glass related, Croxsons has been instrumental in assisting the distiller in the supply of high quality primary packaging, decoration and evolving the distinctive designs used on previous releases. For this project, the limited edition bottle, being representative of the existing structure of the core Silent Pool Gin brand, features a platinum print of the unmistakable Silent Pool Rose Expression Gin design, together with a neck and bottle label on the lower portion.

‘The bottle was created with the vision of celebrating the once in a lifetime occasion that is Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee, while still be recognisably a Silent Pool Gin product,’ said Sophie Best, Silent Pool’s operations director. ‘For this we turned our now iconic copper pattern a gorgeous shade of platinum and created metallic, platinum coloured stickers that are placed on the belly and neck of the bottle, depicting the dates of Her Majesty’s reign.

‘We think the final outcome is absolutely breath-aking. The platinum colour of the pattern is impossible to miss and perfectly represents the Platinum Jubilee. It is truly something very special, which we will never do again.’

‘We have worked with Croxsons since setting up the brand in 2014. The team is extremely supportive and on hand to answer questions, solve problems and provide advice whenever we need it. They are fantastically creative and produce superb bottles that are an impeccable quality indicator to the liquid inside,’ she added.

Croxsons’ CEO Tim Croxson said, ‘We are once again delighted to be part of Silent Pool Gin’s journey. This latest commemorative release is entirely fitting to celebrate this once in a 1000 year occasion. A true classic from Silent Pool Gin that is simply stunning.’
