Roland DG Corporation has announced the expanded availability of its cost effective D‑EA2 multi‑colour eco solvent inks, now compatible with the TrueVis XP‑640. This enhancement makes the company’s premium print technology more accessible than ever for price sensitive markets expanded colour capability, cost competitiveness, and the reliability of genuine OEM ink.

With broader colour options including CMYK + red, orange, green and light black, the enhanced D‑EA2 ink set delivers a wider gamut, empowering print companies to achieve consistent, brand accurate colour output at a more affordable running cost.

Launched initially for DGxpress printers in 2025, the D‑EA2 ink line has now been extended to support the TrueVis XP-640, meeting growing demand for high quality, yet cost efficient, solutions across a wider range of markets.

Designed specifically for businesses producing brand critical graphics, the new multi‑colour D‑EA2 configuration enables sharper colour reproduction, smoother gradients, and increased vibrancy – ideal for signage, labels, vehicle graphics, retail displays, and more.

The expansion of D‑EA2 ink compatibility supports printers who want to elevate quality, differentiate from competitors, or confidently handle demanding colour sensitive work.

The addition of red, orange, and green inks widens the achievable colour space, making it easier to match complex brand palettes, while light black delivers improvements in graininess and enhanced photographic tonal gradation.

Many markets face the challenge of balancing affordability with the need for high quality print output, and the expanded D‑EA2 ink solution directly addresses this demand. By pairing TrueVis hardware with a more affordable multi‑colour ink option, users can achieve enhanced colour expression and wider gamut capabilities while significantly reducing operational costs. The upgraded D‑EA2 inks deliver up to 40% savings compared to the TrueVis TH inks, making advanced print performance more financially accessible. At the same time, choosing genuine Roland DG ink preserves full OEM warranty coverage, ensuring long term reliability and stable device performance. Together, these benefits enable more profitable, colour demanding work, attracting higher value clients.

‘By expanding D‑EA2 multi‑colour compatibility to our TrueVis XP‑640, we are making premium print quality more accessible than ever, especially for customers in emerging markets,’ said, Ryugo Nimura, executive officer, global sales and marketing division. ‘This upgrade delivers the wider colour gamut and reliability customers expect from TrueVis, while dramatically reducing running costs.
