Dantex makes new global commercial appointment

Dantex Group has further strengthened its strategic focus on digital print growth with the appointment of Christoph Michel as global commercial director digital.
Based at Dantex Germany in Bensheim, Christoph will initially focus on developing the company’s presence across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, while also supporting wider business development initiatives throughout the organisation.
Christoph brings more than 20 years of experience within the packaging and printing industries, combining technical expertise with leadership and business development across both digital packaging and commercial print technologies. His background spans folding carton converting and print, digital inkjet solutions for packaging and labels, toner based commercial print technologies, and consumables including UV and water based inkjet inks.

Previously, Christoph held senior roles within the print technology sector, including responsibility for Heidelberg’s toner machinery business developed in collaboration with Ricoh.
Christoph said, ‘Dantex is a highly dynamic and lean organisation that works collaboratively without country borders. The company is fully focused on labels and packaging and genuinely listens to its customers, with a clear growth strategy in digital print.
‘Personally, I feel I am in the perfect position, staying very close to customers to understand their requirements, while also supporting the organisation with my experience in digital print and commercial development.’
