DataLase has launched a new global website, providing manufacturers, brand owners, converters and technology partners with a comprehensive resource for exploring the latest developments in laser reactive product identification.

The new website reflects the evolution of DataLase and its technology, with a stronger focus on how laser reactive solutions can simplify coding and marking, improve traceability and production efficiency, and support the move towards more sustainable packaging and manufacturing operations. Built around the message ‘Product Identification. Re-engineered.’, the site demonstrates how DataLase technology enables permanent, high quality identification to be created directly on packaging and materials, supporting a more efficient approach to coding and marking.

Visitors can explore the technology across a wide range of applications and materials, alongside dedicated content demonstrating its potential within key markets including beverage, FMCG, pharmaceutical, personal care and automotive. Dedicated sections cover the technology itself, coating solutions, applications and materials, industry solutions and the global partner network.

A significantly expanded resources area brings together technical and industry insights, company news, videos and white papers, helping customers and partners understand both the technology and the wider issues influencing the future of product identification.

Clare Lewis, CEO, said: ‘The new website represents DataLase as we are today, but importantly, it also reflects where we see product identification heading.

‘Manufacturers and brands are facing growing demands around traceability, compliance and sustainability, while at the same time looking for ways to make production simpler, cleaner and more efficient. Product identification plays an important role in addressing those challenges.

‘We wanted the new website to make it much easier for people to understand what DataLase technology can do and, crucially, where it can be applied. Rather than simply talking about the technology, we are showing how it can work across different materials, applications and industries and the practical benefits it can bring to the production line.’

Its laser reactive coatings create a high contrast colour change when exposed to laser light, enabling variable information, codes, marks and graphics to be generated without inks, ribbons or labels on the production line. This approach can help reduce consumables and waste while supporting production efficiency, cost control and reliable track and trace. It also enables permanent identification across a diverse range of packaging formats and manufacturing applications.

Visitors can also access information on coating technologies and connect directly with the company’s technical specialists to discuss material testing, integration requirements and production trials.

The new website is now live at datalase.com.
