Digidelta has announced that it has secured the FESPA UK Waste Accreditation Champions Recognition Award 2025 in honour of its work and ongoing commitment to the environment.
Launched in 2022, the FESPA UK Waste Accreditation is a voluntary scheme focused on promoting responsible waste management and recycling across the print, signage and graphics industries. Through the scheme, the organisation evaluates a company’s waste generation, waste outputs and disposal practices, with only those that meet its strict criteria being declared a ‘champion’.
Digidelta now joins a list of businesses to have met these high standards, securing environmental recognition from FESPA UK.

Steve Broad, head of global business development at Digidelta, played a major role in obtaining the new recognition. Steve, along with several members of the Digidelta team, met with FESPA UK at the 2025 Global Print Expo in Berlin, Germany in May.
‘We are thrilled to welcome Digidelta as the latest supplier to become a FESPA UK champion and join our mission of continuing to improve the industries’ sustainable credentials,’ said Jon Hutton, director of FESPA UK.
‘When we first met Steve and Digidelta at the FESPA exhibition, we discussed the environmental drive and ethos that runs throughout the business. It is clear Digidelta wants to make a difference in the way end of campaign vinyl graphics are handled and the waste accreditation, which focuses on recycling these materials, is the perfect platform.
‘It is exciting to have Digidelta on board and form an integral part of our team of champion suppliers!’
Digidelta has established itself as a trusted and leading provider of sustainable products to the print, signage and graphics markets. Its product portfolio includes the revolutionary range of Biond bio based films, which deliver an environmentally friendly, high quality solution to customers.
Biond offers a highly effective, quantified alternative to PVC materials. Created using vegetable based products, it is 85% bio based and absorbs carbon dioxide during growth, reducing its total footprint by more than 80%. This stands in stark contrast to traditional PVC, which generates significantly higher levels of potentially harmful carbon dioxide gases.
However, what makes the product such a successful alternative is that despite having far less impact on the planet than PVC materials, it delivers results equal to or even greater than those applications created using traditional PVC based products. This means customers do not need to compromise on the quality of the final application to deliver an environmentally responsible service to their own clients.
On top of this, Biond offers competitive pricing aligned with polymeric PVC, meaning customers do not need to spend over the odds to become a more environmentally friendly operation. To support transparency, Digidelta has created an online calculator, allowing customers to see the benefits of switching. Users can input how much traditional PVC material they currently use and view how many kilograms of carbon dioxide they can cut by simply making the move to Biond.
What is more, the products use a water based adhesive and are manufactured using processes that are 85% solar powered. Production is overseen by the expert Digidelta team, ensuring a high level of quality control over all materials that leave its specialist factories, and excellent production efficiency, delivering products in a timely manner. This in-house approach also removes the cost of outsourcing production, with these savings passed on to customers, thus cutting the cost of them becoming a more sustainable business.
‘At Digidelta, we are fully aware of the qualities our products offer to customers, in terms of quality, sustainability, and cost effectiveness,’ said CEO Armando Mota.
‘To gain recognition from a leading and highly respected organisation and to secure FESPA UK Waste Accreditation Champions Recognition Award 2025 status is further proof of our mission: delivering environmentally friendly solutions while reducing our own impact on the planet. We are delighted to become a FESPA UK Champion and look forward to working with the association to spread the word about our leading products.’
