Packaging Solutions
Durst will be showcasing the wide range of applications possible for customers on its Tau inkjet single pass presses on its stand A49 in hall 1 at Packaging Innovations and Empack at the NEC in Birmingham, UK, from 25 to 26 May. Packaging applications, which will include a focus on the company’s water based ink technology and P5 wide format platform, will also be part of the show offering.
Thomas Macina, global sales manager label and flexible printing, will be on the Durst stand with other experts including Simon Cosh, the UK and Ireland label business development manager who has more than 30 years’ experience as an inkjet specialist in the print and graphic communications industry, plus managing director Peter Bray and business development manager Neil Williams.
The RSC Tau UV portfolio covers the RSC E and RSC presses for short and medium runs, and the RSCi for medium and long runs, as well Durst Workflow Label software and other integration packages. The company offers for the large format and graphics, label and flexpack and corrugated printing segments specific ink sets based on UV or water technology. These inks combine high system stability, low ink consumption, a large colour space and a wide range of applications. The Durst P5 350 press, including the HS model, will also be spotlighted for packaging applications.
Peter Bray said, ‘Packaging Innovations and Empack is another important platform for us to continue to push forward our market leading RSC Tau and P5 systems, service and software, as well as our inks, in markets where we have a growing presence. All our customers can count on Durst’s continuous development of RSC technology as we continue to push the boundaries of innovation as part of our pixel to output strategy. We look forward to welcoming showgoers to our stand.’
