Pre-press software expert Enfocus has partnered with web to print platform Vpress to launch the Vpress Flow app, available now on the Enfocus Appstore.

The new app integrates the Vpress web to print system with Enfocus Switch, the workflow automation system, creating a seamless end to end production process. The new integration ensures files can move from onboarding to production without relying on manual touchpoints, boosting quality, efficiency, and profitability in every job.

Using the app, any type of print order created in Vpress will be automatically imported into Enfocus Switch along with all associated files and production metadata. The versatility of Switch means it is suitable for even the most complex workflows, so customers can now submit multi-component jobs through the Vpress web to print portal and still enjoy the benefits of a fully automated process.

Davy Verstaen, appstore and partner manager at Enfocus welcomed the partnership, saying: ‘With the Vpress Flow app, we are further strengthening the connection between web to print platforms and production automation. This integration allows customers to seamlessly move from order creation to production without manual intervention, fully leveraging the power of Enfocus Switch.’

James Hall, technical director at Vpress, added: ‘Vpress Flow is about removing the friction from complex production. By integrating with Enfocus Switch, we are enabling our customers to push automation deeper into their operations than ever before. Most importantly, by syncing real time status updates directly back to the user’s dashboard, we have closed the loop, providing total transparency from the moment an order is placed to the second it is fulfilled.’

Those wishing to experience the power of the Vpress Flow app for themselves can do so at a free webinar hosted by the two companies. This event will take attendees through a live end to end workflow, from order creation to quality control and automated production.

The date of the webinar will be announced soon, and those wishing to register their interest can contact the team by visiting: www.enfocus.com or www.vpress.com
